Membership

The Institute welcomes applications from members of all professions, who while in their day to day work are involved in administrative duties in their organizations. Membership of the Institute provides a greater understanding of the procedures and practices of administrative practice, with a view to enhancing our members’ understanding and capacity to excel in their job.

The Institute provides education and training to help our members attain excellence in administrative practice. The courses are taught by experienced administrators and academics. Entry is through the Associate grade. However, students and those in apprenticeship may be allowed to join the Institute as Affiliates Members. For those with little or no knowledge of administrative management, it is necessary to complete an entry course for Associate Membership. Suitably experienced professional administrators may qualify for full membership, or Fellowship by completing the Fellowship application form.
